We ask our guests to wear semi-formal wear but other than that, wear what you think you'll look your best in. Our theme colors are picked for fall- think golds, dark greens, browns, reds, and navy; but where whatever makes your heart sing. We do suggest avoiding any sort of sharp high heels as there will be some gravel and walking around on grass and a bonfire near the lake. Jackets for the evening are also encouraged as fall in Virginia can be unpredictable.

It is very spotty so don't expect to be able to FaceTime anyone from there. However, there is wifi throughout the lodge and grounds. If you are driving to the venue without the shuttle we HIGHLY recommend either printing off directions ahead of time or having them programmed into your phone before departing your lodging and when leaving the venue after the reception.
